David Bowling

Bio: I have been collecting vinyl records for over forty years and my collection is approaching 50.000 records. My wife Susan and children, Stacey and Amy, have learned to humor my passion. I am now settled in beautiful Whispering Pines, North Carolina where I read, listen to music, root for the Red Sox, and live off the fat of the land.

hi there. nice blog! have you been reviewing music for long, other than here? looks like you started in Oct 2013… i know that somehow you were able to collect 50000 vinyl pieces… was it in the music business? formerly with CashBox the actual magazine?

I was a record collector all my life. I have been writing reviews for about a decade. Originally with Blogcritics and The Daily Vault. I took over the Cashbox Reviews when they re-structured their site.

  2. Hi David just wondered if you would like to review my album its nominated in the Indie Music Channel Awards and currently no 9 on the Radio Caroline Chart in the UK – I’m from the UK but am coming back to America on 23rd April. All the best – Trev [Trevor Sewell]

  3. Hi – What’s the best way to get you a CD for review? Thanks!

  4. Hi,

I’m with an alternative rock group called The Keystones out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We’ve been gaining traction and have had the opportunity to open for larger rock groups such as Reignwolf, Dirty Honey, and Cleopatrick. We’re releasing a new single on February 24th and we’d love for you to check it out and feature it on your blog. The song is called WLVS and I can send the file along with our EPK if interested. Thanks for your consideration!
