The Big Lonesome

I am not the biggest fan of EP’s. They are not a full-album musical statement but rather only provide a taste of an artists music. And so we come to Undone, the new EP by The Big Lonesome.

The Big Lonesome is one of those bands that is difficult to pigeonhole. They cross genre’s and styles combining indie rock, roots, and even a little country mixed in for good measure.

The best track is the up-tempo “What The Hell Am I Supposed To Do,” which features a nice twangy guitar sound. Several of the songs have an intenseness to them as the lyrics are personal journeys through heartbreak and addiction. It all adds up to a good listening experience.

Guitarist/vocalist keyboardist Chad Gosselin, guitar/vocalist Like Gosselin, bassist/organist Joe Ziemba, and drummer Michael Moore  have honed their craft with years of touring. Now how about a full-length album.
